8th & Stellar in Sri Petaling is a project of Chin Hin Property Development, the real estate arm of privately-held construction conglomerate Chin Hin Group Bhd, which was founded in 1974. Its completed projects include KB Square @ Kota Bharu Waterfront, Gembira Residen at Kuchai Lama, and Tech Avenue Industrial Park at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
With a gross development value (GDV) of about RM450 million, the 8th & Stellar mixed-use project consists of two towers that stand on 2.2 acres of leasehold land. Apart from six shop lots, the two blocks contain 138 SOHO units and 522 serviced residences.
The project also features 120,000 sq ft of office space, where Chin Hin Property Development intends to move its headquarters from its existing premises along Jalan Kuchai Lama. The integrated development was launched in the second quarter of 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2022.
The residential units at 8th & Stellar come with layouts spanning from 711 sq ft and 818 sq ft respectively. The SOHO units and serviced residences are priced from RM528,000 to RM919,000, which works out to about RM740 psf. These come with 1-3 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms.

Given that 8th & Stellar will house the developer’s new HQ, the project comes with many impressive facilities.
For instance, there’s a plethora of green spaces on the ground level, such as the Aromatic Season Garden, The Verdant, and the Cascade Garden. As for the ninth level, it’s a haven for workout fanatics thank to its interactive playground, jogging track, basketball court and outdoor fitness area. Apart from a yoga deck, there is also an area for practicing Taichi and Qi Gong.
On the 43rd floor, residents can admire majestic views of the area at the infinity swimming pool. They can also relax at the Jacuzzi, or hold parties at the pavilion, which also serves as a BBQ area. There is also an event patio and multi-purpose space, in addition to the games room, badminton court and gym.
One thing unique about this project is that it’s touted as the first development in Sri Petaling to offer dual key units and homes for multigenerational families. Apart from being close to the future Taman Naga Emas MRT Station, another appealing thing is that the project will have an eye-catching curtain wall façade, which will be the new iconic landmark within the Sri Petaling vicinity.
The developer is also considering keeping the six shoplots to be leased out to selected retailers.
